Health Visitors
Health Visitors (HVs) give advice on child and family health and monitor development of 0 - 4 year olds. Their first visit will normally be to your home, when your baby is 14 days old. They run weekly child health clinics as follows:

Shirehampton Health Centre    Wednesday mornings   9am - 11am
Lawrence Weston Clinic        Friday mornings  10am - 12noon


Plus a group for first time mums at:

Shirehampton Health Centre   Friday afternoons  2pm - 3.30pm

All HVs are qualified nurses, with an additional qualification in Public Health.
There are three HVs who work geographically:
Ruth Campbell     Shirehampton
Barbara Smith    Avonmouth
Louise Lercier    Lawrence Weston and all other outlying areas


There are also three nursery nurses who work with the team:

Charlene Irvine, Nikki Doublet and Lynn Stinchcombe
