Calling all Teenagers!

Teen Health Clinic & Birthday Card Scheme

  • Are you between the ages of 13 and 18?

  • Are you interested in a Teen Health Check?

  • Have you had your Teenager Immunisations?

  • Do you want to talk to someone confidentially about things you cannot talk about at home?



  • On a Monday afternoon between 3.30pm & 7pm Nurse Rhiannon runs a 'Teen Health Clinic'. These appointments are available for any teenagers who need advice, or help, or just someone to talk to. This clinic is confidential, and is available to young people if they want to attend on their own, although they are also welcome to bring a parent or friend.

    Young people regularly come to the clinic to talk about
         Acne/Skin care             Appearance & Body Image
         Bullying                         Contraception & Sex
         Development                Diets & Eating
         Drugs & Alcohol           Exercise
        Relationships               Smoking

    Immunisations
    All young people need to have a booster of their childhood immunisation jabs between the ages of 14-16 years. Nurse Rhiannon will give any necessary immunisations during this these appointments.

    Contraception & Sexual Advice
    Nurse Rhiannon has free condoms which can be supplied to anyone under 18 years, and is also able to give advice on sex and contraception.

    Birthday Cards
    We are currently inviting all 14 year olds to attend for a Teen Health Check, an opportunity to have some advice about your development and also to get some information about healthy living. Your immunisations that are due will also be done at this time. Young people attending for these appointments may come alone or bring a parent/friend if preferred.
